Anna Lee is an award-winning engineer and inventor who builds products in categories the rest of the world overlooks. Over more than a decade, she has turned an engineering discipline usually reserved for consumer electronics toward the spaces people don't take seriously, and built real, category-defining products there.

She is the co-founder and CEO of Lioness, the first smart vibrator that measures and improves sexual pleasure through biofeedback data. Under her direction, Lioness grew from an engineering concept into a company holding the largest real-world dataset on female sexual response, with more than 500,000 anonymized sessions that have powered peer-reviewed research alongside doctors and academics. The work has been featured in The New York Times, The Economist, Newsweek, Forbes, Glamour, and the BBC, recognized on best-of lists from Popular Science to Engadget, and cited in the medical literature on sexual health and pelvic floor disorders.

Before Lioness, Anna was a mechanical engineering lead on the concept engineering team at Amazon Lab126, where she led the mechanical engineering for the original Dash Button concept and helped launch Page Press technology. She holds a mechanical engineering degree from UC Berkeley and is a certified sex educator, a combination that lets her move fluidly between hardware, data, and the human questions underneath both.

Today her work extends beyond Lioness. Through Intima, she partners with creators and public figures to build talent-owned brands in intimate wellness, and she continues to take on projects that bring engineering rigor into categories that have never had it. The throughline is constant: find a space people dismiss, and build something in it good enough that they can't.
